Whether you're a New Girl super fan or more of a 500 Days of Summer lover, we all have a favorite Zooey Deschanel moment from the last several years. When we picture the 43-year-old spritely actress, we all think bright blue eyes, a positive attitude and, of course, her classic brunette hair. Deschanel's dark hair and perfected bangs have become somewhat a staple in the star's look, but, today the actress revealed what could be a shocking new 'do.
A mere few hours ago, Deschanel posted two mirror selfies to her Instagram with the caption "who's she?" The caption at hand clearly refers to the almost unrecognizable Zooey featured in the selfies, who is seen rocking a completely blonde head of hair. Blown out with voluptuous '70s volume, the actress' hair is a stunning light blonde with a dark shadow root that adds the perfect amount of dimension.
It's fairly clear in the photos Deschanel posted that she seems to be on set. The second image is taken in what appears to be an on-site makeup trailer. So, whether or not the star's blonde 'do is a wig or the real deal is still unclear, but we know that we're all for Deschanel's new look regardless.
