Selena Gomez wears a lot of hats—from former Disney kid to international pop star, Emmy-nominated actress, brand founder and lover girl to fiancé Benny Blanco. It’s safe to say that Gomez has a lot on her perfectly manicured hands. Despite her undoubtedly hectic schedule, Gomez still makes time to sit down with nail tech Tom Bachik for some nail TLC, creating some of the most viral nail trends in the process. Established now as an authority on all things beauty, including nails, Gomez is our ultimate mani inspo. If you feel the same, we did the heavy lifting and rounded up all of the Only Murders in the Building star’s best manicures in one place for the ultimate nail idea gallery.
Selena Gomez’s 15 Best Manicures
Witchy Realness
Alongside co-star David Henry, Gomez served up the ultimate witchy nail inspiration at the premiere for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and nail tech Tom Bachik revealed the onyx shade to be Miasecret Black Gelux Gel Polish ($12.50).
White on White
At this year’s Palm Springs Film Festival, Gomez arrived in an all-white Ralph Lauren ensemble, with the perfect monochromatic French manicure to match. “Last night’s timeless monochromatic ‘White on White’ French manicure was inspired by Selena’s all White Power Suit by Ralph Lauren,” Bachick shared on Instagram. “To create the look, I first went in with Blanc by essie to sculpt the French Tip. Then, to add a monochromatic sheen we went in and applied one coat of Arctic Jelly all over the nail.”
Wifey Era
We’ll never forget Benny Blanco’s Taco Bell-inspired proposal=, and we’re forever obsessed with Gomez’s simple, chic soap nails for the occasion too. “For her engagement, we went with just a beautiful, classical, sheer, pinky-nude, but she normally loves color; she wants colors that pop, that make her happy,” Bachik told WhoWhatWear. “The nail shade that we used is Ballerina from Chanel ($33). She didn’t know it was happening; she had a Chanel luncheon, and I’m like, ‘Hey, why not use a Chanel color?’ We wanted something that was classic, timeless and elegant; something that just kind of went with everything.”
Butter Yellow
If there’s one nail trend that has truly outlasted the rest, butter yellow is it, and Gomez tried her hand (no pun intended) at the trend back in 2024.
Champagne Toast
Toasting to another successful awards season, Gomez’s champagne nails for the 2025 Oscars were a sure winner.“For an Oscar-worthy mani, I started the look with @cndworldwear extender base coat,” Bachik wrote on Instagram. “I applied one coat of #CND shellac in Rule Breaker and Silk Thread, finishing the look with #CND shellac no-wipe top coat.”
Fine Wine
Another awards season fave, Gomez’s BAFTA nails were the ultimate winter manicure. To create the look, Bachik revealed via Instagram that he used Tweezerman tools to prep before using the CND World Shellac System, applying two coats of the brand’s sultry red shade called Needles & Red ($17), sealing it with a top coat and cuticle oil for an ultra-glossy finish.
Squeaky Clean
Gomez is a known fan of the timeless soap nails trend, like this squeaky clean almond set Bachik created earlier this year using Aprés Gel Couleur in Spring Sigh ($15).
Eggplant Chic
For the premiere of her film Emilia Perez, Gomez rocked a perfectly plum manicure in her signature almond shape courtesy of Aprés Gel’s Eggplant Emoji ($15).
Out of this World
For the Academy Gala, Bachik opted for an out-of-this-world cosmic manicure with just the right amount of sparkle thanks to Olive & June Cosmic Silver Gel Polish ($10).
Movie Star Mani
For another Emilia Perez press event, Bachik created a “movie star mani” for Gomez, using CND’s Purplexity ($9) for the ultimate chromatic look.
Apple Cider Nails
When fall comes, we’ll be whipping out this photo of Gomez’s custom apple cider nails the moment we hit the salon.
Orange Julius
Perfect for summer, these fresh “Orange Julius” nails, as Bachik crowned them, are equal parts vibrant and laid back.
Neon or Nothing
While she usually opts for more neutral nail shades, Gomez is one to experiment, as showcased by this sharp, neon green set Bachik created last summer.
Lucky Girl Nails
If you’re on “Nail Tok,” you know that a red mani is closely associated with “lucky girl syndrome” and this set Bachik created using essie Rock the Runway ($13) is sure to have you feeling abundant.
Orange Sunset
If Gomez’s Orange Julius set isn’t your speed but you still want a vibrant summer mani, try a more muted orange toned mani Bachik created for the singer last summer.
