If you’re firmly in the “not before Thanksgiving” camp, consider this your spoiler alert: The holidays have officially arrived, and Zooey Deschanel is at the forefront. Bath & Body Works has named the actress and musician its Holiday Wonder Maker, the face of Season of Wonder, which the brand calls its most ambitious holiday campaign yet.
The campaign is also Bath & Body Works’ largest media buy to date, running across YouTube, connected TV, social media and in stores, with out-of-home placements in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas.
Deschanel stars in the campaign film and photography, which feature pastel backdrops, holiday accessories and iridescent lighting. She’ll also bring the campaign to her millions of followers on Instagram and TikTok.
“For me, holiday wonder is in the little things you look forward to every year: the scents, the lights and the feeling of finding a gift that is exactly right for someone,” Deschanel shares. “The holidays have always been so special to me, and Bath & Body Works is a brand many people associate with the season.”

Snowflakes & Cashmere, a returning favorite with notes of vanilla cashmere cream, caramel woods and frosted clementine, anchors the collection. This year it’s available as an eau de parfum for the first time, alongside body care, home fragrance, laundry and hand soaps. Vanilla Cocoa Flurries, the season’s new scent, blends white cocoa, chilled coconut milk and vanilla woods.
The lineup also introduces a holiday bubble bath, made with vitamin E and aloe and free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates. Returning home fragrance favorites include Pure Wonder, Moonlit Goddess, Fresh Balsam, Lavender & Pine and Winter. A teddy bear motif runs through the seasonal accessories and décor, and the packaging is iridescent.
“With Season of Wonder, we’re celebrating everything that makes this time of year special through fragrances that evoke memories, thoughtful gifts that create connections and new experiences that inspire discovery,” says Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, chief brand and product officer at Bath & Body Works.
Deschanel also curated her own gift edit from the collection. Her picks include the Snowflakes & Cashmere 3-Wick Candle ($25), the new Vanilla Cocoa Flurries Fine Fragrance Mist ($18) and the Pure Wonder Foaming Hand Soap ($9).
The appeal of the edit is personal. “Fragrance has such a powerful connection to memory,” she says. “One familiar scent can immediately bring you back to a holiday tradition or a moment with people you love. That is what makes Season of Wonder by Bath & Body Works so fun to explore and so personal to give.”
The Season of Wonder collection is available now at Bath & Body Works stores and bathandbodyworks.com in the U.S. and Canada, with select products at Ulta Beauty and on Amazon. Shop Deschanel’s favorites, ahead.
