A mouthful of a mani name with results that are chic, minimal and short-nails friendly? This look truly has it all! Designed by celebrity nail artist and OPI global ambassador, Zola Ganzorigt for the 2025 Grammy Awards, these nails take the best of every French tip trend we’ve covered. Using elegant black and white on Kelsea Ballerini‘s natural nails, we’re calling this the next major look. Introducing the short double reverse French manicure, coming to a salon near you!

What makes this look?

Many trends are packed into this manicure’s very simple, minimalist look. Let’s break it down.

Keeping Ballerini’s nails short, Ganzorigt alternates black and white in ultra-fine line French tips. She uses the opposite color as the tip and creates a reverse French, resulting in a mirror image. The final look is a double French that works a bit like parenthesis, bordering the top and bottom of the nail.

It’s super easy to look clean girl friendly with color choice. By leaving Ballerini’s nails a natural pink, her fine detail work stands out even more. That said, the color and finish combinations are really endless for this look. You can go as bold as you like with a bright red and gold combo, or keep it super rich girl by sticking to a classic white and nude color palette.
