HairTok isn’t my favorite realm of the internet. I love finding styling tutorials and new braid trends, but am admittedly particular about the products in my routine. As a straight-haired natural, I’ve developed a regimen that works and keeps my hair healthy. When certain products continue to pop up on my feed, I feel it’s only right to give them a chance. Especially if said products improve sore areas like split ends, broken edges, dryness and frizz. Beauty trends move quickly on TikTok, and it can be easy to get caught up in the hype from reviews. Testing a new hair-care item isn't as easy as trying skin-care products. From shampoos to hair masks and leave-in treatments, implementing a new product requires time and patience. However, I found several that proved well worth their viral value. Ahead, see the trendy hair-care products that’ve earned a spot in my picky routine.
