From jaw-dropping bikini (or lack thereof) snaps to poetic odes to her favorite pink Gap dress, Paulina Porizkova’s summer Instagram situation is sometimes revealing, often moving and always entertaining.

Now, in her latest posts, the 55-year-old supermodel is chronicling some very behind-the-scenes glimpses at an often-guarded process: That of her experiences post-procedure.

In a photo to celebrate the milestone of reaching 200K followers, Porizkova posted a shot of herself in the chair of her “beloved doctor,” who she explained is moving back to Florida. “So she really nailed it to me- Ulherapy @ultherapy on my lower face and plasma pen @Plasmapenmd around my eyes. Now I look like a monster- seriously- but hopefully in a few days my miracle worker erased a little of the grief prints from my face.”

In closing, she told her followers she would keep them posted and, a few hours ago, kept to her promise by sharing a “polka-dot” photo, which, as she explains, was courteous of the non-invasive skin-tightening treatment of PlasmaMD.

“Feeling fine – lookin’ freaky!? These are the after-effects of the plasma pen and ultherapy yesterday. The ultherapy leaves no trace, but the same can’t be said for the pen. Guess who’s wearing sunglasses all day today?? My #wednesdaywearables are flowers on my dress and polka dots on my face! ?Thanks for my polka dots @laserrae and @drhalaas . #plasmapen #ultherapy AND NO, It doesn’t really hurt. They put on a numbing cream first, and then burn these little dots. Not bad at all. And after, it feels like a sunburn the first night. Day after feels utterly fine. But looks – interesting…”

It’s not the first time Porizkova has been no holds barred with her beauty treatments. As she told us in a 2018 interview, she’s been a fan of Ultherapy and would “never say never” to doing more.

“Whether it’s delayed aging a little bit, I can’t tell because the fact is, I am getting older, so things are starting to look worse and not better,” she shared. “I don’t think there’s any way out of that. But Ultherapy comes with the promise of tightening and smoothing my skin, which sounds like a great idea to me! So I keep doing it and hope something will happen. But I don’t feel ugly, so I think it’s working!”
