Big volume is a big trend right now. It seems on every red carpet and photo shoot lately celebrity hairstylists are operating on a “the more volume, the better” motto. Celebs and their hairstylists have access to all the best volumizing products, and here’s what we’ve seen them use.
Virtue Volumizing Primer ($38)
Adir Abergel is a well-renowned celebrity hairstylist as well as the creative director of Virtue, so it’s no surprise stars often have the brand’s volumizing primer in their hair. Cate Blanchett and Chelsea Handler have been known to use the product. Additionally, Jennifer Garner is often wearing the product in her hair, whether she’s at the Oscars or getting a quick chop.
We’ve seen dozens of celebrities use various UNITE products to achieve red-carpet-ready volume. The brand has a handful of products that promote major volume, so we figured we’d give you options. Denise Richards wore Boosta Finishing Spray ($32) for a recent photoshoot, while Jessie James Decker rocked Boosta Volumizing Spray ($28) to this year’s Country Music Awards. Queen of big hair Megan Moroney calls it a favorite, too. Bebe Rexha had Texturiza Hair Texturizing Spray ($38) in her hair as a nominee at the most recent Grammy Awards. Paris Hilton’s hairstylist used UNITE hair products exclusively for her Met Gala ponytail.
Jennifer Coolidge’s iconic Brigette Bardot-esque look for the SAG awards was powered by this texture spray and Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse ($30). Lily Collins also loves this spray for a volume boost.
