From your favorite fruits and veggies to a fish with age-defying super powers, these foods can keep you looking (and feeling) more youthful.
Chock-full of age-defying omega-3 fatty acids, arctic char is the fish of the moment. Not only does it stave off signs of aging, but it also improves the integrity of brain cells and eyesight.
This ultrahydrating citrus fruit is an excellent source of vitamin C, which helps boost the production of collagen to give your skin more structure and create a more youthful appearance.
Filled with monosaturated fat (the healthiest fat), avocados are a great source of dermal hydration. Their fatty content also helps your body absorb some of the vitamins and nutrients your skin needs.
A great reason to eat your veggies? Brussels sprouts are high in vitamins A and C. The former (along with fellow ingredient folate) can help prevent sun damage, while the latter promotes collagen production.
A great tasty snack, the skin of grapes also contains resveratrol, which combats inflammation and has been shown to slow the aging process.
It’s not a food, but this beverage has incredible anti-aging properties. It’s high in antioxidants, as well a chemical called EGCG, which has been shown to boost cell growth. Drink up!
