TopCoat Brings Nail Artists to Your Home
By Anna Jimenez |
You might have noticed that nail art is having a real moment and it isn't stopping any time soon. Fun styles like chevron and floral patterns are everywhere (including the red carpets) and with Japanese nail art salons opening by the droves stateside, the designs keep getting more detailed and outrageous.
Now, if you’ve tried to master nail art in the comfort of your own home, you might have had a little trouble. Channeling Picasso on a canvas the size of a dime isn’t easy. The good news is that there are very talented nail artists out there and now, they are only a click away. With the launch of TopCoate.me out of San Francisco, you can now go online, input your area, browse hundreds of nail art styles, pick one and then request the nail technician come to you or meet them where they take clients to get the design of your choosing. "Genius" doesn’t begin to cover it.
Once your appointment is complete, you then pay and tip on the website, which means there is no cash exchange with wet nails. Also, the company vets every nail artist on the site, so you can feel comfortable knowing your nails are in good hands. The service is currently only offered in San Francisco, but is coming soon to Los Angeles and will be branching out to other major cities soon.
What do you think? Would you try a service like this?
