BH90210 may be having a moment and, now, so are Tori Spelling’s brows.

The star took to social media last week to show-off a little microblading makeover, admitting that, after years of overplucking and a tweezer-fueled hole happening more recently, she decided to take the “brow plunge.”

Ok, I finally took the BROW PLUNGE... - I know sooooo many people who have tried #microblading but honestly I was terrified to do it. Even though I was a self professed over plucker ( hey... thin brows were IN in the 90’s. And, Donna Martin was on point for that decade!) Plus, no one told me The Brow Would Be Back! And, in a BIG WAY! And, after years of tweezing sometimes brows just don’t grow the way they used too. Then, about three weeks ago I blew it and made a hole in one of my brows while trying to tweeze them. That’s when I knew I just had to go for it! My forever friend and makeup artist and #microblading master @nikimetzmakeup has been telling me forever to do it. That it would be life changing. Well, she was right... - @nikimetzmakeup you have pretty much changed my life! I’m obsessed with the beautiful #microblading she did on me. Who knew brows could literally boost your self confidence! I feel so good about myself right now. Thank you my friend! So natural. So easy. So brilliant. love you xoxo PS check out my before and after photos! Wow!

The brow magician herself told us that, like Spelling, she’s also a product of the ‘90s—and the brows that came with it. “Tori's main concern was that she wanted naturally full brows,” Metz says. “Nothing too dark, a nice arch and a fuller brow. She [Tori] was surprised of how natural they looked and how it wasn't painful as others had told her.”

Metz has also been a makeup artist in the industry for more than 20 years, so she knows a thing or two about brows and microblading, which she does free-hand, minus a stencil. “I love to create brows based on the client’s needs and wants. Not every client can have the full, ‘fluffy brow’ and that’s OK. As an artist, I am able to create a brow based on what will enhance the client’s face, giving them a nice ‘brow lift.’”

And although Metz is queen of the "soft, fluffy and airy" brow, she thinks the thin brow will make a brief appearance on the runways and on Instagram soon. “But I don't feel that if will make a huge impact. Women are still traumatized by their overplucked brows from the ‘90s and they are not willing to go back, let alone let their daughters get a hold of the tweezer.”
