Eos Just Launched a Skin Care Line and Everything Is $20 or Less

Known for its adorable, iconic lip balms, eos is an industry leader when it comes to creating products that provide a sensorial experience. Translation: You like the way the tiny, smooth, dome-shape lip balms feel and smell, not to mention how they look on your desk or nightstand, so you keep buying them over and over again.

And it's not just the lip balms. Its shaving creams and hand/body lotions are also packaged in such a way that allows the consumer to experience something more than the standard. But it doesn't stop there. The brand just announced it's now venturing into the skin care world, with a new line called Aqua that's inspired by the sea.

Formulated with hydrating marine botanicals such as sustainably sourced seaweed and Irish moss, the six products include Aqua Hydrating Skin Prep, Aqua Glistening Lotion, Aqua Purifying Clay Mask, Aqua Exfoliation Lip Scrub, Aqua Deep Hydration Lip Mask, and Aqua Dynamic Lip Gloss. Made for all skin types and tones, the collection—nothing is more than $20—focuses on unique textures to give consumers that sensorial experience. For example, the hero product of the line, Aqua Hydrating Skin Prep, morphs from a cream to a soft, water-like finish once applied to the skin to make it feel super smooth.

“With eos Aqua, we are able to bring the soothing nature of water to life in a refreshing formulation that delights consumers with every use,” says eos Products executive vice president of research & development, Dr. Mike Wong. Plus, all the products in the line are free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, and formaldehyde, as well as dermatologist-tested, gluten-free and not tested on animals.

You can find the new Aqua products exclusively on the brand's site, and according to eos, this is the first of a planned series of cross-category collections, so you can expect to more skin care launches in the future. We can't wait!
