Why Kohl’s Going to Be Your New Beauty Destination in 2018

You probably haven’t heard the name Bob Jezowski before, but if you’re a Kohl’s fan, he’s about to become your new best friend.
Formerly in charge of the beauty department at Belk department stores, WWD reports that Jezowski helped launch big-name brands like Urban Decay, Benefit Cosmetics, M.A.C., Laura Geller and Winky Lux at Belk counters in just five years. His next project: upping the ante in the Kohl’s beauty department as the newly appointed vice president and divisional merchandise manager of beauty.

The popular department store already carries lines such as Bliss, Lorac, Cargo, The Balm, Pür Cosmetics and H2O Plus (it also added professionally trained beauty advisers in all stores), but this is just the beginning. Larger beauty departments, better training for advisers and more brands are all in the works.
There haven’t been any new large-scale brands announced to enter stores just yet, but because Kohl’s generates about four times more revenue than Belk, we have high hopes cult-classic and under-the-radar names will soon be added to the beauty roster. In the meantime, stay tuned to NewBeauty.com for updates.
