People Are Going Nuts for MAC's New Concealer

To a beauty editor, what happens backstage at Fashion Week is more important than what happens on the runway. From the prepping of the models' skin to the makeup application, hairstyling and nail art, we can't get enough. It's one of the best ways to get the inside scoop on upcoming trends, expert beauty hacks and new products. Case in point: MAC's highly anticipated Studio Waterweight Concealer, which made its debut backstage.

Backstage at Tommy Hilfiger's "Rock Circus" show at London Fashion Week, MAC artists were tasked with creating the makeup look, which featured a bare face with clean skin and a dark, rock-and-roll eye with heavy black liner. Although the makeup overall was beautiful (did you see the gorgeous Gigi Hadid?), what really caught everyone's attention was the use of MAC's new concealer, which, according to the brand's senior artist Dominic Skinner's Instagram post, has been the "most-loved product in his makeup kit this season." In the caption of his behind-the-scenes photo below, he writes: "It's super lightweight but packs an almighty punch with coverage."

Although there's a ton of buzz circling this concealer, which appears to be an extension of the brand's beloved existing Studio Waterweight Foundation, there's a disappointing catch: According to Spinner, it looks like we can't get our hands on it until 2018. Boo!
