Bethenny Frankel doesn’t let "haters" get under her skin. On the Tuesday, October 22 episode of her podcast Just B With Bethenny Frankel, titled "Just B Rant: I Love Haters," the 53-year-old reality star and entrepreneur shared a message for those who criticize her appearance, making it clear that she’s completely unfazed by the negative comments—and, instead, entertained.
TheReal Housewives of New York City alum called out one social media user in particular who compared recent photos of her to those taken two decades ago. "They want that Bethenny," she said. "And my jaw was different because I hadn’t found Botox in the jaw. My jaw was much bigger. People commenting on somebody else’s physical appearance, like being mad that I look better. Like I literally look better and they’re annoyed and you can tell."
"And again, that’s a hater and I like that," she continued. "I literally know that you are acting really jealous and bitter and it's annoying you that I look good."
Frankel has openly discussed her Botox use in her jaw, dating back to a 2016 interview with The Daily Mail where she explained: "I’ve had Botox in my jaw. You can see that my jaw has completely changed.” She clarified that the treatment was primarily to reduce jaw tension, recommended by her dermatologist for TMJ relief.
Montclair, NJ, dermatologist Jeanine B. Downie previously explained to NewBeauty that Botox for TMJ is common: "I Botox my own jaw to decrease my TMJ. I clench and grind my teeth, and this treatment is very helpful." Downie noted that reducing jaw muscle bulk can soften the jawline, adding, "A rounder, softer jawline is more feminine," which is certianly appealing to patients seeing aesthetic and (or) pain relief.
