Amanda Chantal Bacon Reveals Her Wellness Routine and Beauty Must-Haves featured image

It takes a special kind of person to own and operate their own start-up, and Amanda Chantal Bacon has all of the force-of-nature qualities it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Founder of wellness brand Moon Juice, Bacon is a multi-talented author, wellness influencer, mother and business woman who has been running her successful supplement start-up for 10 years now. But, when she’s not writing cookbooks and curating supplements for the whole body, Bacon has a religious self-care routine of her own. Luckily for us all, the mogul shared all of her favorite tips and tricks for how she keeps herself well while running a wellness empire.

The Day to Day

With a schedule as busy as hers, Bacon says she wishes she could say she has a daily wellness routine: “That sounds relaxing.” Like many of us, it’s hard for the CEO to make time for a full self-care moment, but Bacon does have some “non-negotiables” she makes time for everyday as well as some monthly rituals to keep her going. For her skin, she swears by products with glutathione and vitamin C for keeping her face smooth and radiant. Some of her day-to-day makeup faves include ILIA’s Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara ($28), the Saie Brow Butter ($20), Living Libations Cheek Tint ($30) and Merit Beauty Tinted Lip Oil ($24). An advocate for a healthy lifestyle, she also stays true to eight hours of sleep every night and a vegetable every day.

On a more spiritual note, Bacon incorporates “moments to drop into a very still place within, even if I’m sitting in a very loud place as well as moments to appreciate the beauty of the world happening all around me, even if the world feels impossible or I feel deflated” into her everyday. Bacon’s three other daily essentials are simple: “hugging, kissing, flossing!” When it comes to working out, she keeps it real. Does she have a daily fitness routine? “No, but in my dreams it would be to walk three miles daily and do pilates twice a week.”

Month to Month

In addition to her daily rituals, Bacon also shared the self-care practices she tries to incorporate at least once a month. Her go-to wellness treatments include a trip to an infrared sauna, a lymphatic stimulation massage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and NAD infusions. When it comes to self-care rituals that don’t require a trip to the spa, she swears by “sunshine on my body, hikes, meditation, reading, sitting down for slow meals, and intermittent fasting.”

Rise and Shine

Getting a little more personal, we asked Bacon to reveal the first three things she does every morning: “Move my daughter off my head, hold onto the unawareness of all the things I have to manage for a few minutes, and listen for birds.” After her few moments of morning meditation, she digs into her stash of Moon Juice for her faves: “I use SuperYou ($49) for stress, SuperHair ($60), SuperBeauty ($60) and Ting ($42) to get in a lot of water and energy, and Sex Dust ($38) instead of coffee.” To wake up her skin, Bacon starts with a simple splash of water “followed by Plump Jelly Hyaluronic Serum ($58) and an antioxidant powder mixed into the jelly, and SuperBeauty for collagen and sun damage.”

Evening Essentials

How does this business mogul relax and unwind after a long day? She tells us she always turns to “more water with Magnesi-Om ($42), a gentle Milk Cleanse ($32) at night followed by Acid Potion ($42) and a swipe of Cosmic Cream ($58) if I need moisture or Marie Veronique’s Gentle Retinol Night Serum ($110).” For some full-body and mind relaxation, she ends the day with “a much needed 30 minutes to an hour of personal time and space to think about whatever I feel moved by. I’m not much of a film-watcher.”

No matter how busy we may be, Bacon shows us all how essential it is to take care of ourselves in order to take care of everything else in our lives.
