At tonight's Emmys, Gomez arrived on the carpet dawning a striking, deep purple strapless and sequined gown and a perfectly paired statement necklace, but the real star of the look was her décolletage-exposing slicked back bun courtesy of these under-$20 styling tools.

Gomez's hairstylist, Marissa Marino kicked off the Rare Beauty founder's style with a fresh hair wash, then detangled and combed through her tresses with the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler ($16).
Marino then blow dried Selena's hair straight, sectioned out her front bang that served as a pulled-out statement strand, and clipped it up, while brushing the rest of her hair into a tight ponytail using the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Styler ($17), whose unique, bottle-shaped teeth are designed to dry-style and effortlessly tackle any look. Marino says she particularly loves how this brush grips the hair without creating frizz.
After sectioning off and smoothing out, Marino wrapped Sel's ponytail around into a bun and secured it with bobby pins before unpinning the front section and curling it away from her face to frame it.
