A much-awaited release for comedy fans, action lovers and those who appreciate the renowned talents of Neeson and Anderson, The Naked Gun is the fourth installment of the laugh-out-loud American crime film franchise. It features Neeson as head of the Police Squad, with Anderson as a sassy, hilarious client seeking Neeson’s “expert” help for the murder of her brother. While the trailer alone had us clutching our ribs, we had to clear our eyes of tears of laughter to admire Anderson’s nostalgic ‘do.
Styled several ways in the trailer alone, from a classy up-do to a fresh-out-the-convertible scarf bandana look and a side-parted blowout, we couldn’t help but notice that Anderson seems to have left her micro-bang bob behind, going back to her roots (no pun intended) for this campy, nostalgic film. While The Naked Gun isn’t set to release until August, we’ll be eagerly awaiting more glimpses into Anderson’s old Hollywood-inspired beauty looks in the meantime.
