Hemp and CBD brand Uncle Bud's announced today that they have named Jane Fonda as their newest ambassador, referring to the 82-year-old as an "icon for both health and wellness, both past and present."
"I'm excited to partner with Uncle Bud's," Fonda said in a release. "Wellness has always been incredibly important to me and these hemp-based products recently caught my attention. They're eco-friendly, cruelty-free and, most importantly, effective!"
The actress and activist also shared the "trifecta" lineup of the brand's Hemp Hand Sanitizer, CBD Lip Balm and Hemp Body Lotion on her social media accounts to kickoff the partnership news, which the company says will run throughout 2020 and include both marketing and advertising initiatives.
In celebration of the announcement, Uncle Bud's will donate 1,000 units of their Hemp Hand Sanitizer to Safe Place for Youth, a non-profit organization which provides care and support to youth experiencing homelessness, on behalf of Fonda.
