Living Proof Straight ($29)

This straightening product harnesses the power of Living Proof’s patented molecule, OFPMA, to repel humidity, dirt and oil and prevent breakage. It’s also formulated without oils, resins or silicones, so you can actually reapply it over and over again without any product build-up. That means you can also use it as a heat protectant for touch-ups, or even as a dry shampoo.

Joico Humidity Blocker Finishing Spray ($18)

There’s nothing that will ruin a good blowout like a sticky, humid day, which is when this spray comes in handy. All you have to do is lightly spray it on your hair after you finish styling and it will create a physical shield against humidity and fight frizz. By also providing a light hold, this straight hair product will give your style some serious lasting power.

PHYTO Phytodéfrisant Botanical Straightening Balm ($28)

Apply this heat-activated balm before you dry your hair for a frizz-free finish. And, in addition to helping smooth and straighten, it also hydrates, softens and protects tresses with its high-tech, plant-based formula.

GKhair serum makes the best in my opinion. It instantly fights the hair frizz and flyaways. Creates a protective shield over each hair strand leaving a soft smooth finish. Very effective against the SUN and other heat styling especially the blow drying which can burn and damage your hair. The best cure to a soft smooth finish. The best hair serum I have ever used for my dry and frizzy hair. :) <3

The most important thing is prevention!! Everyone who uses heat on their hair, even if it is just a blow dryer, NEEDS to use heat protectant!! Talk to your hair stylist about what heat product is best for you and your hair routine! If you’ve already done the damage you also need to ADD a hair mask and deep leave in conditioner to your hair care regiment.(which now includes heat protectant) :) I’m a hair stylist by the way ;)

I have tried all the products out there to straighten my hair and nothing seemed to work until I found Magic Sleek. It is the only thing that has worked for me. It keeps my hair straight and manageable for at least six months.

I have been suffering from breakage and dryness for years and I've been trying to find the right products to use on my straight hair. I found a brand called Nutress Hair. The Stop-break shampoo and conditioner that they have works great since it helps eliminate frizz and dryness. My hair remains nice and sleek throughout the day. This brand is my absolute favorite! You ladies should try it as well if you are looking for the perfect product.

What I do is use a bit of argan oil (heat protectant) and then blow dry with my Karmin dryer and after that use a bit more of the argan oil (it's by Pro Naturals). Result = Pantene-commercialesque hair!!! Really works, I've even done it on my mom and it's the same

I like to read labels before I buy beauty products to make sure I'm not exposing myself to toxic chemicals. Even tho I like au naturelle being able to straighten my curly hair is extremely practical. Doesn't take long and I have carefree hair for days. Can be pulled back without frizz, brushed without tangles, it looks so tidy on a hard workin' girl. Thanks for this information.
