It’s safe to say that, while the children of celebrities have been making names for themselves and branching off of their parental successes for decades, the quote “nepo babies” of today have gotten a bit of a bad rep for no good reason. Leave it to MAC Cosmetics, though, to flip the script on how we see nepotism offspring with its new Lipglass Air campaign, which stars famous second-generation stars Zaya Wade, Amelia Gray and Francesca Scorsese.
MAC Launches New Lipglass Air Alongside Gray, Wade and Scorsese
You’ve heard of Hollywood nepo babies, now get ready for what MAC has deemed the nepo baby of lip gloss. The newest variation of the brand’s iconic Lipglass ($24), MAC’s Lipglass Air ($25), comes with everything you love about the OG—ultra-reflective shine and next-level gloss—but this time without the sticky residue. Designed to be worn however you please, whether over liner, over lipstick or on its own, Lipglass Air is a lightweight, nourishing lip gloss with 10 lush shades perfect for any beauty aesthetic.
In true MAC fashion, the launch also comes with a star-studded campaign. Titled Born Famous, MAC’s newest campaign taps famous nepo babies Amelia Gray (daughter of Lisa Rinna), Zaya Wade (daughter of Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union) and Francesca Scorsese (daughter of Martin Scorsese) for a Y2K-inspired shoot by legendary fashion photographer Sharna Osborne. Dedicated to redefining the nepo-baby identity, the new campaign is sure to turn heads in the glossiest way.
