It’s a shock to no one that Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union nailed the 2025 Met Gala. The pair stunned in their tailored dandy best with elite attention to detail, from Gab’s hair accessories to Dwyane’s nail art. The best part? The pair got a couple’s manicure ahead of the event.
Celebrity nail artist Thuy Nguyen pulled inspiration for Dwyane’s manicure from the colors featured on his vest. “A sage-y mint kind of vibe,” he says. “I added different color dots to make the manicure fun!”
Nguyen used DND products, including polish colors Green Isle ($12), How Do You Neutral? ($10) and Black Ocean ($12). The Dotting Tool ($15) was key to achieving the precision of the nail art, and the Silver Chrome Powder ($12) added an extra edge.
For Gab’s manicure, Nguyen took inspiration from her dress. “Gab’s beautiful dress called for simplicity and class. I decided on an ombré French tip,” he says. He used shades Inner Peace ($12) and White Chalk ($12) along with the Sponge Grabbing Pen ($10).
