I’ll get right to the point: one of essie’s most beloved, fan-favorite nail polishes is back. Clambake ($10), the fiery red-orange polish that first launched in 2008, was discontinued, briefly re-released in 2021, then discontinued again, is officially available to shop exclusively at Ulta Beauty—for a limited time.

I’ve written about my love for Clambake before; and still stand by that the bold, sun-drenched red is the perfect manicure for summer. Not only is it reminiscent of the best parts of the season—think lobster, red-checkered tablecloths and ripe tomatoes—it also looks particularly sizzling on sun-kissed skin.

Relentless fan demand isn’t the only reason essie brought back the iconic Clambake shade. This latest re-release is also thanks in part to viral chef Meredith Hayden of Wishbone Kitchen, aka “Gen-Z’s Martha Stewart.” Essie re-launched Clambake to celebrate the release of Hayden’s debut cookbook, “The Wishbone Kitchen Cookbook” (a now New York Times best-seller). Hayden’s vibrant summer recipes include (you guessed it) a Nantucket Clambake recipe with delicious lobster, clams and potatoes.

Clambake goes with any and all summer soirées, so grab a bottle while you can—it won’t be around for long.
