He may be known for his tunes, but don’t dismiss Elton John’s creativity when it comes to candles.
The iconic musician has lent his touch to create a special-edition holiday assortment in partnership with Slatkin + Co. Offering a unique blend of artistry, home fragrance and displays, the 10-piece collection—which features candles, diffusers and accessories—leans heavily on holiday and tradition.
“There’s nothing quite like lighting a candle to set the festive mood for the holidays,” John says. “This home fragrance collection is not only inspired by the garden on my estate, but also cherished holiday memories. Every scent in this collection truly captures the essence of the holiday for me. Whenever I first light one of the candles, I’m immediately transported to a magical winter night at my home. There’s no better feeling!”
And, as the Rocketman and Step Into Christmas singer assures us, he was very involved in developing the final product, which has a personal touch.
“I was deeply involved in every step of creating this collection. From selecting the scents to designing the packaging, every detail had to be just right. My goal was to create a home fragrance collection that feels luxurious, but remains accessible.”
Drawing inspiration from his home in England, the star says the collection truly offers a window into his life, especially his love for the holiday season. “With fragrances like Ginger Spice Pudding, Marmalade, Citrine Pine and more, I want to transport you to the heart of the English countryside. This collection brings together music, art, fragrance and home—four of the things I cherish most.”
While John’s attention to detail may not be surprising, he is quick to credit the team effort that went into creating the collection.
