Met Gala 2025 has been nothing short of iconic. And seeking to add another best-dressed moment to her catalogue, Met-darling Kim Kardashian has absolutely done it again. Taking this year’s theme celebrating Black dandyism and expert tailoring to heart, Kim’s look takes the best of sleek and glam to the next level.
And completing the effect was her perfectly shaped hair and sexy leather wide-brimmed fedora. According to celebrity hairstylist, Chris Appleton, who crafted the look, the keys to her long-lasting, carefully designed hair came down to the right tools and the best products.

The first step to achieving Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala 2025 hair is preparation. Appleton started with Color Wow’s Dream Coat Supernatural Spray ($28) to prevent frizz and keep hair looking glossy. He then turned to Shark Beauty, using the FlexFusion ($399) with Styling Concentrator attachment to rough-dry Kim’s hair, then switched to the Wet or Dry Fusion Brush attachment to smooth.
Then came the style. Appleton used the 1.25” Auto-Wrap Curler attachment to shape the hair and define the look.
Finally, the look was sealed and locked in with Color Wow Texas Hold ‘Em Big Hold Hairspray ($30), with an added dose of Color Wow Extra Mist-ical Shine Spray ($29) for longevity.
