The latest celeb to join in on the viral “Of Course” video trend? None other than Kim Kardashian.

“I’m Kim Kardashian, of course I have my mannequin with my custom measurements in my glam room,” she says. “I’m Kim Kardashian, of course I have my beauty campaigns on loop on a big T.V. wall.”

Excessive? Maybe. Surprising? Not quite.

But what did cause our jaws to drop was when she addresses the camera from inside a lit tanning bed, complete with tanning goggles on her head. “I’m Kim Kardashian, of course I have a tanning bed—and a red light bed—in my office.”

The dangers of tanning beds are well documented. The American Academy of Dermatology Association (AAD) shares “Indoor tanning can increase the risk of developing the two most common types of skin cancer—squamous cell carcinoma by 58% and basal cell carcinoma by 24%.”

While the mogul does have a neighboring red light machine, known for its collagen-boosting and line-ironing benefits, it’s essential to note that it doesn’t counteract the damage caused by tanning beds.

If you’re looking for a faux glow, opt for at-home self tanners that offer a harmless bronze in no time.
