Just when we thought K-beauty–inspired skin-care brand Glow Recipe hit their popularity limit, we got news of yet another product joining the best-selling Watermelon Glow family: Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops ($34).
Launching in Sephora today, the makeup-meets-skin-care hybrid is the first of its kind to enter the brand’s repertoire and claims to do everything we'd hope from a makeup serum. Formulated without mica, glitter, pearls or a gray cast, the elixir can be applied on bare skin, used as a glow-enhancing primer beneath makeup, dabbed on the eyelids or patted onto the tops of the cheekbones as a highlighter.
The product's ingredient lineup even promises a hydrating punch to the skin. Included in the mix: niacinamide, moringa seed oil, hyaluronic acid, and, of course, watermelon. Together, this potent combination works to soothe irritated skin and brighten dark spots while retaining moisture and minimizing the appearance of pores. The formulation is also ophthalmologist tested and safe for use around the eye area.
To achieve the ultimate glow, Glow Recipe advises users to follow a “you dew you” approach. If you’re going for a natural skin moment, apply one drop of the serum onto your hands and massage into the skin before your moisturizer. If you’re feeling fancy, apply two pumps onto the high points of the face as the last step of your routine.
