Fragrance, like skin care, has always been inherently genderless. We all have skin to take care of, and we all like to smell nice. However, it’s only recently that products are being marketed this way, and it’s about time. According to Trendalytics, genderless and gender neutral perfumes surged in popularity by 216 percent in 2022, and they just keep going. I’ve always been a proponent of genderless fragrances, often opting for men’s deodorant and feeling drawn to the “masculine” scent in Abercrombie & Fitch in high school. There's something beautiful about the way a fragrance smells different as it mixes with different people's chemistry, especially when the pair is a couple.
