The Makeup Museum has unveiled another fascinating piece of never-before-seen beauty history on its Instagram account—and this time it has to do with all things Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

As first reported by Refinery29, the iconic former First Lady received skin-care consultation notes from the Erno Laszlo Institute dated May 1, 1963; the document also included instructions for President John F. Kennedy himself.
Earlier in the month, the Makeup Museum posted the personalized skin-care prescription for Marilyn Monroe, dated March 17, 1959.

As the brand’s chief historian and branding officer, Patricia Schuffenhauer, says, Dr. Laszlo kept very detailed notes on all of his clients, where he captured his prescriptions for skin-care regimens, as well as nutrition and exercise recommendations.
Some of the most interesting call-outs from Jackie O.’s document: The derm-approved tip of applying Erno Laszlo Light Controlling Lotion—an exfoliating toner that is still part of the line today and available via Amazon—to the underarms whenever she applied it to her face, and the assurance from the doctor that “it was not necessary to stay out of the sun, as it was good for her…should she get any brown spots, he will make them fade in the fall.”
