Demi Moore has long been proof that long hair after 60 can be incredibly chic when done right. Recently, Moore’s go-to hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, gave her what he dubbed “Sex•ture hair” for the premiere of the second season of Landman. We loved the look so much that we had to ask for the expert tips behind the sultry style.

“Everything starts from Demi’s personality, and because she's edgy, cool, strong and confident, that reflects in the hairstyle and texture I create for her,” Giannetos tells us. “She manages her hair so well and is very hands-on in the process. We always like to have a good foundation for the hair. The messier the hair, the sexier!”

To get the sexy texture Moore sported to the premiere, Giannetos reached for an old standby: L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Strong Hold Hairspray ($16). “It gives this natural, dry texture and keeps the hair in place,” he says.

"To create the waves, I used the Bio Ionic 1” Curling Iron ($163), curling the hair in different directions. At the end, I brushed the waves out with a wet brush, and this gives the hair a softer, messier feel.”

Consider Moore's look as a sign to embrace a little mess because that’s clearly where the magic happens.
