We didn’t say it, but Alix Earle refers to her hair in the past as “a little crazy.” In a recent TikTok, she shared the product that turned her hair health around. Earle says she has been using the new Function of Beauty PRO line all summer, and it’s completely repaired her hair, which she says used to be all split ends. “I’ve been through a few bottles now, and it is actually the best thing ever,” she says.
The TikTok comes after fashion week, which wreaked some havoc on Earle’s hair. She explains she had been “wearing it in slicked back buns every night," leaving her hair "all crusty,” she explains. The PRO line offers four different Custom Recovery Conditioner Masks ($28). Each has a unique formula for damaged straight, wavy, curly, or hair. You can further customize your at-home hair treatment by mixing in the concentrates your hair needs.
When Earle makes her personal concoction, she mixes Moisture Shot ($4) and Frizz Genius ($4) concentrates into the conditioning mask. There are also shine and volume boosters, a toner for blondes, a hydrating mix-in, a color vibrancy enhancer and a curl definer.
These PRO products are “literally the only thing that leaves my hair coming out of the shower feeling good and not like a rat’s nest," says Earle. She promises she wouldn’t recommend products she’s never used before and adds that she’s been using these Function of Beauty products since the beginning of June, "and if you guys saw my hair before, it was a little crazy.”
The TikTok star says her hair feels better and is so much healthier now, and she’s also seen some hair growth. "I really don’t think you guys understand though how transformative this shampoo and conditioner has been," she says.
