28 years after her sleek, razor-sharp bob became synonymous with “posh” itself, Victoria Beckham still likes to keep her hair simple. “I don’t do too much,” the founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty admits to Into The Gloss. But don’t take that to mean the designer is necessarily easygoing about her tresses, either. “When it comes to hair, the more volume the better,” the founder revealed. “But I do not like to feel too much texture in my hair, so Ken [Paves, ‘best friend and hairdresser’] has a very light touch on products.”

The drugstore sprays behind Beckham’s signature blowouts

Which products does Paves rely on for just the right amount of volume and softness? Drugstore icons Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold ($16) by L’Oréal Paris and Wella’s Sugar Lift Spray ($22). A light spritz of both after blowouts is all Beckham needs to set her current signature style.

Shoppers share Beckham’s affinity for hairspray that achieves soft volume. One shopper says L’Oréal’s Elnett Satin Extra Hold is “such a light mist but holds exactly what up need it to.” Another raves it’s never “sticky or stiff.” A third customer says it checks all the boxes: “Workable, strong hold, soft looking finish, great price.”

Fans of Wella’s Sugar Lift Spray says it gives “perfect texture” and “adds body and shine” that’s “not sticky or waxy.” “It’s so good I’m going to order 10 more in case they stop making it!” exclaims another customer.

The key to any successful blowout is, of course, a quality shampoo and conditioner. After being introduced to the salon-grade brand Milbon by a friend, Beckham reaches for their Replenishing Shampoo and Restorative Treatment (both available at select salons). “[Daughter] Harper has become quite obsessed with them, as well,” she shared.

Beckham’s similarly simple approach to brows and lashes

As much as I love a multi-step beauty routine, I have to admit Victoria Beckham’s minimal approach to hair care is refreshing to hear. The 90s icon echoes a similar less-is-more ethos when it comes to her brows and lashes, but does call friend Anastasia Soare, CEO of Anastasia Beverly Hills, her “eyebrow guru.”

“Upon [Soare’s] recommendation I used Latisse for both my lashes and brows, and it helped to grow them back,” Beckham recalls, “but I haven’t used it in quite a while.” These days her brow go-to is her own brand’s Babyblade ($34). “I’m obsessed with our Babyblade. I searched for the right brow product for a long time, something that came in a small enough component so that I could really get a precise application and carefully pencil individual hairs.”
