Hundreds of products come across our editors’ desks every month, but not all of them deliver on their claims or live up to the hype. (Not everything that goes viral on TikTok is a miracle worker.) This is our exclusive curation of the best-in-class beauty products receiving rave reviews from our team and hitting shelves right now. From Dior’s first-ever blush stick to HigherDOSE’s high-tech body-sculpting tool, we’ve got the inside scoop on all the newness.
DECORTÉ AQ Pore Blackhead Dissolver Deep Pore Cleanser ($90)
“Many of the most common and persistent skin concerns, like skin texture, discoloration, dullness, redness and breakouts, can be traced back to congested pores,” says Sharon del Valle, general manager of KOSE America, Inc. “Until now, many solutions offered by the industry have been aggressive to the skin barrier. Our approach has always been to lead with extensive research that offers a holistic solution that respects the scientific nature of skin and optimizes the results with the latest technology. This is why we are so proud to introduce this groundbreaking cleanser, which is the first-ever formula developed using Quantum computer science to safely and effectively dissolve clogged pores without damaging the skin. Using a Quantum computer, we analyzed over 100 billion formulas to find the perfect one, ushering in a new era for pore care that redefines what is possible for skin clarity and skin health.”
Made for all skin types, the formula blends botanical oils and butters to achieve a serum-like texture that you massage into dry skin like a cleansing balm before rinsing off.
Fresh Sugar Treat Lip Oil ($24)
One of the OG brands in the lip treatment category, Fresh is expanding its beloved formula into glossy territory with a new tinted oil treatment that combines skin care and lip color in one. “What makes it stand out is our specific blend of highly effective ingredients,” says cofounder Lev Glazman. “We combined sugar—a natural humectant that locks in moisture—with super rich omega-fruit oils to level up on hydration and nourishment.”
It comes in three flattering shades—Rose, Berry and Honey—and can be worn alone or layered on top of liner or lipstick. “What I love about this lip oil is how it feels,” says cofounder Alina Roytberg. “It is hydrating and gives your lips that beautiful, glossy finish without any stickiness. The oversized cushion applicator literally hugs the lips! I like to layer it over a tinted Sugar Lip Treatment to add depth to the color. It’s the final touch that adds shine and keeps my lips feeling soft all day.”
LUX Unfiltered N°30 High Gloss SPF Oil ($44)
Consider this summer the season of shimmery body oils. But, this one goes a step further by adding SPF 30 protection. The brand’s most requested product since its launch, this high-gloss SPF oil is super nourishing with jojoba and grade seed oils, and it smells amazing.
“I wanted the fragrance [Beach Club] to evoke the feeling of vacationing in the Italian Riviera,” says founder Sivan Alya. “There’s something very nostalgic about the neroli blend that reminded me of growing up near the beach combined with more luxurious destinations that I have traveled to like Portofino and Capri.”
COLOR WOW DREAMING Advanced Repair + Resurfacing Treatment ($45)
This weekly rinse-out mask is a must-have for anyone battling frizzy and/or damaged hair this summer. “Formulated with a blend of oils—including squalene and rice bran oil—protein-rich quinoa and naturally derived polymers, this mask ‘melts’ into hair’s outer cuticle layer, filling gaps, cracks and visibly repairing imperfections like split ends,” says the brand’s chief chemist Dr. Joe Cincotta. “In three to five minutes, it forms a strong, tightly sealed, ‘pseudo cuticle layer’ that bonds to hair’s surface, providing a clear veneer of anti-humidity protection and smooth, glossy perfection.” Swap it in place of your conditioner and leave on for two or three minutes before rinsing.
e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow Skin Tint SPF 50 ($18)
At less than $20, this sunscreen-infused skin tint is a no-brainer for effortless skin care this summer. Formulated with brightening niacinamide and soothing bisabolol, it keeps skin nourished while also shielding it from harmful UV rays. Available in 18 shades, it leaves behind a natural glow without a white cast. It’s also recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation, which is a great bonus because most “SPF makeup” products get knocked for not providing enough protection (you also need to apply enough though, too).
Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner Pads ($16 for 10 pads)
One of our favorite exfoliating toners (beloved for its pore-clearing power) now comes in pads! The former NewBeauty Award winner and cult-classic has traditionally come in a liquid form that you dispense onto a cotton round, etc., which isn’t as travel-friendly.
Now, you get a pack of 10 individually wrapped, pre-soaked pads that you can toss in your gym bag, carry-on, etc., and get all the same benefits on the go. You may also be thinking about the sustainability impact, but the pads are biodegradable. And, the way I see it is that you’d use your own to cotton pad to apply the toner anyway, and nearly all cotton balls/rounds are not biodegradable.
Dior Rosy Glow Stick Blush ($44)
The first blush stick from the brand, this one is not only chic as ever, but also pH-reacting, so everyone gets a slightly different, custom color based on their unique skin chemistry. Each of the seven creamy shades adjusts with cool pink or warm coral tones, and leaves behind a dewy (but long-lasting) glow.
“It’s been long awaited, but it’s finally here: our Rosy Glow Stick,” says Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Makeup. “A beautiful blush formula that reacts to the pH level of your skin, just like our icons Dior Addict Lip Glow and Rosy Glow. Technology and creativity at the service of your beauty.”
JVN Perféct The Essential Dry Shampoo ($28)
Kiss greasy roots goodbye with this micellar-powered dry shampoo that instantly refreshes lackluster strands. “It comes out so clean and clear with no white cast,” says founder Jonathan Van Ness. “It actually has micelles inside it—like what’s in micellar water—and that’s what’s doing the cleansing. It also has a dry version of our hemisqualane to soothe and comfort the scalp, plus rosemary. Then, it has a marine algae extract, which helps balance the oil production over time, so we’re not dehydrating the scalp. It’s a gorgeous formula.”
We’re obsessed with the scent, too. “The scent is like a gorgeous sensory journey that never lets me down,” Van Ness adds. “It’s mandarin, floral, musk and woods. It’s giving you a little bit of Mediterranean vacation…it’s really light and plays well with other scents.”
Violette_Fr Lip Nectar Hydrating Lip Stain ($29)
This will also be the summer of the lip stain. But, not the lip stains you knew years ago. Modern formulas are embracing new textures and formats we’ve never seen before, and we’re here for it. This one blends coconut water, shea butter, ceramides and hyaluronic acid to create what the brand calls a “nectar-like texture” that goes on silky-smooth with high shine and without a sticky residue. Then, it dries down to a beautiful, long-lasting stain.
“The idea for Lip Nectar came to me when I couldn’t find a truly ‘grown-up’ lip stain,” says founder and makeup artist Violette Serrat, noting that it comes in four nature-inspired shades. “I wanted to create a product that was high-performance while being deeply nourishing and comfortable to apply and wear. My vision was for it to feel indulgent and sensual, like jam—rich in texture, with a luxurious burst of color, the perfect amount of shine and just the right stain, all without the stickiness.”
HigherDOSE Microcurrent Body Sculptor ($399)
We’ve seen our share of body tools over the years, but nothing quite like this. A first-of-its-kind device combining LED light (red and near-infrared) and microcurrent energy, it sculpts and tones by activating muscles, stimulating collagen production, and enhancing circulation and lymphatic drainage.
“We saw an opportunity to lead a new conversation around body care—one that goes deeper than skin and taps into fascia, lymph and muscle,” says Lauren Berlingeri, cofounder and co-CEO. “These systems are essential for how we feel, move and glow, yet they’ve been completely underserved. This tool is more than innovation; it’s a way to help people reconnect with their bodies and feel better in them, every single day.” Use it like you would any other microcurrent device, with an accompanying activator gel, to allow for a deeper, more effective delivery of energy.
rhode Glazing Mist ($30)
Available for pre-sale until its launch on June 24, this super fine hydrating face spray gives skin the glazed look founder Hailey Bieber is known for. Formulated with key ingredients ectoin, beta-glucan and a trio of ceramides (the same ones used in Glazing Milk), it’s not meant to be a setting spray, but rather an essential step in your skin-care routine. It’s also fragrance-free and has the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association.
“I really wanted to create this because I love having a facial mist in my routine every day,” says Bieber. “Always shake it before you apply, and just spray it all over the skin. I also put it on my chest, and it leaves this really nice, beautiful sheen. It’s usually my first step now of the day. I’ll rinse my face with water in the morning, I’ll spray it on, and then the rest of my routine. Thus far in life, I have not been able to find a facial mist that keeps me moisturized and hydrated enough to use it on its own, but I also use it throughout the day to refresh my makeup. It’s something I can’t live without now. It’s become such a staple in my routine.”
eos x Blue Moon Limited-Edition Valencia Orange Lip Balm ($5)
For those who enjoy a crisp, refreshing Blue Moon on a hot summer night, this one’s for you. Though it doesn’t contain alcohol, the lip balm’s citrusy flavor is meant to “enhance the vibrant notes of your favorite Blue Moon beer.”
“We’re constantly pushing the boundaries of flavor and innovation at eos, and this collaboration with Blue Moon is the perfect example of how we surprise and delight our community,” says Soyoung Kang, chief marketing and innovation officer. “This unexpected, juicy collaboration captures everything we stand for—innovation, bold flavor, and turning everyday rituals into something crave-worthy and sensorial.”
Ultra Violette Preen Screen SPF 50 ($30)
When you need to reapply SPF but don’t want to ruin your makeup, this Australian-grade SPF face mist will be your best friend. Designed for reapplying sunscreen throughout the day, the brand says it uses “a unique film-forming technology that helps UV filters adhere to the skin, ensuring long-lasting protection while keeping your makeup intact.” The mist is super fine and it feels like you have nothing on your skin, but you get SPF 50 protection, an antioxidant boost and a subtle glowy finish all in one step.
Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics EverGlow Lip Oil ($34)
This nonsticky lip gloss–oil hybrid is infused with skin-care ingredients like argan oil, apricot kernel oil, peptides for hydrating and conditioning benefits you don’t often get from lip oils. It also contains Maxi-Lip for some plumping action, especially if you use it consistently. Available in five shades, from baby pink to rich berry, it gives lips the prettiest shine.
“I’ve always loved the idea of lip oils, but once the initial glossy look wore off, my lips felt dry and parched and I’d find myself reaching for a lip balm,” says Brittany Dailey, brand president. “With our EverGlow Lip Oil, I never have that problem. My lips stay soft, supple and hydrated long after the first application. This product is a total game changer—I will never not have it in my bag!”
