The reality star and entrepreneur has unveiled a new collaboration between her shapewear and clothing brand, Skims, and Dolce&Gabbana. While the partnership is undoubtedly buzzworthy, what’s stealing the show—at least in our opinion— is the hairstyle the 44-year-old debuted in the campaign imagery: a long shag that’s as delightfully unexpected as it is statement-making.
Thanks to her glam squad—celebrity hairstylist Jake Gallagher and makeup artist Lilly Keys—fans got multiple up-close views of the look on Instagram, with professional shots and behind-the-scenes moments. Kardashian’s hair is full of volume, layered to perfection, and styled in soft, tousled waves, exuding major retro vibes. It’s not quite a mullet, but it’s definitely a shag complete with choppy micro bangs. While modeling the leopard-print-heavy collection, Kardashian looked like she stepped straight out of 1970s Italy.
Since the Kardashian-Jenner clan is no stranger to wigs, we wouldn’t be surprised if this look is a temporary one—especially considering she recently debuted a very-trendy ’90s bob on social media. Also worth noting: Kourtney Kardashian joined in on the shoot, going for a similar shaggy style. While a true Kardashian shag transformation may be unlikely, their matching looks are enough to tempt us all to try the chop ourselves (at least temporarily).
