The Wrinkle Cream That Makes Your Botox Last Longer

In the quest for perfect skin that seems to be immune to aging, there’s almost always a little help needed to achieve it. Often, assistance comes in the form of a needle or scalpel, which helps to turn back the hands of time. For years, women (and men) have looked to the wrinkle-reducing and age-reversing effects of Botox simply because it works.

But, unlike surgery, the effects of what’s achieved with Botox won’t last forever. If you’re lucky, you can squeeze four months—maybe even a few weeks more—out of it.

We recently caught wind of a super lightweight cream from Sothys that claims to draw out the length of Botox. Its Bx Wrinkle Corrector ($120), which the company says keeps flying off shelves, contains a peptide solution that helps to limit the muscle contractions that cause lines to appear in the first place—kind of like how Botox works. When used in conjunction with Botox (you can apply it the day of your injections), the cream purportedly improves the effect of the toxin and prolongs it, too so that your skin stays smoother for longer.

I LOVE this product, it was recommended to me by my esthetician at the Sothys Spa in New York. I saw a major difference in just a few weeks. I haven't had Botox and not considering it at this time but wanted something to smooth out the deep wrinkles on my forehead.
