Rose Lattes Are Trending and We Need One Right Now

We’ve hopped on the turmeric, matcha and blue latte bandwagons, but none of those vibrant drinks seem quite as lovely as the newly trending pretty-in-pink rose latte. This new iteration is a mix of a few of our favorite things: florals, soft millennial pink and rose water.
New York City’s Blank Slate Tea says they added the dainty concoction to their menu as a healthy, caffeine-free option to their selection of lattes, but its Instagram-worthy pastel pink color has made it an overnight bestseller. “We brew the rose petals to make a rose tea concentrate, add rose water to give it that perfect rosy flavor, mix in a little milk and add edible rose petals on top,” says cofounder Ashley Jaffe.

Rose Lattes aren’t exclusive to Blank Slate Tea, as the drink has been popping up both abroad and stateside. We know its trending because no one can resist the urge to share beautiful latte pics on social media. Beauty influencer Amra Olević (aka AmRezy) recently visited the tea shop to get her own pink-on-pink snaps of the rosy refreshment.
In addition to guaranteeing more likes on your posts, Jaffe says this petal-infused tea is packed with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties, so it’s also good for your skin. Who doesn’t love a rose-colored world where aesthetics and wellness go hand and hand?
