Summer may be winding down, but there’s no need to rush into fall manicures just yet. If you're determined to savor the warm weather while it lasts, Los Angeles celebrity and editorial nail artist Queenie Nguyen has the top trending nail colors to try before summer is over. The pro, who’s behind the nails of A-listers like Jessica Alba, Madelaine Petsch and Alessandra Ambrosio, recently shared her top summer picks in an Instagram reel—and it’s a must-see for anyone planning their final (or final few) summer manicures.
Trending Summer 2024 Nail Colors
Starting with the red nail theory, fire engine red shades ushered our manicures straight into a super hot summer this year. We also saw deep emerald greens, electric neon yellows and the iconic brat green that's taken the world by storm on manis all over the 'gram.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, summer also saw the rise of barely-there and super soft colors that took our manicures into more elegant, delicate territory. Nguyen calls out trending shades, including the irresistible lavender, jelly pink, peach and baby blue shades we fell in love with.
And lastly, among the top summer 2024 nail colors, we saw a sharp rise in milky white, barely their nudes and the season's huge hit, butter yellow. So, what's next for fall?
