Olivia Culpo is keeping it real. The 31-year-old model recently gave her 5.4 million Instagram followers the inside scoop on her latest beauty-related decisions ahead of her wedding to San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, and—spoiler alert—it involves saying farewell to her lip filler.

Every so often, the reality star takes to Instagram Story to prompt her followers to join in on an “AMA” (Ask Me Anything) session, encouraging them to ask whatever questions they’d like, from which she selects those she wishes to respond to. Unsurprisingly, the 31-year-old model receives many queries regarding her impending nuptials.

For instance, on Tuesday, April 30, the former Miss Universe addressed a question submitted by a follower: “What skincare/injectables r u doing before the wedding?” In response, she shared a few slides detailing some of the standout cosmetic treatments she’s undergone, including her most recent decision to dissolve her lip filler.

“I had my lips dissolved last week,” Culpo replied to the question via a text overlay on her Instagram Story. She included two photos, one with her lips filled, and one looking a lot more natural. “Look at my before!” she encouraged followers. “I’m really happy [with] the way they look now. Debating filling again but might just keep like this for the wedding.”

Culpo mentioned that she turned to Los Angeles aesthetic practitioner Anush Movesian, MSN, FNP-C, to dissolve her filler and added a poll asking her followers whether they think she should refill her lips or opt for a natural look for her wedding.

In another slide addressing the original question, she shared a photo of herself getting a salmon sperm facial courtesy of Los Angeles acupuncturist Ellie Byun. “She also has all the best skincare/machines from Korea,” Culpo added. The influencer didn’t specifiy whether or not she had salmon skin injections (aka polynucleotide injections) which are trending right now.

As previously explained toNewBeauty polynucleotide injections are a type of skin booster. “Polynucleotides are natural, derived from fragments of fish germ cells, usually salmon, and contain highly purified DNA molecules extracted from the fish gonads,” explained New York dermatologist Doris Day, MD. “They are biostimulatory, meaning they may help promote collagen and elastin production. They are also thought to help with skin hydration and are often used around the eyes to help address dark circles.”

But Culpo’s wedding preparation doesn’t stop at skin care. Just a few weeks back, she did another “AMA,” that time revealing she had just gotten a professional lash lift for the first time. She’s since said that it’s “one of her fave wedding prep things,” namely for the way it looks like she’s wearing false eyelashes or extensions, without the regular maintenance.
