Morgan Riddle has many reasons why the super-buzzy ISDIN’s Fusion Water Magic ($38) is a daily essential. After early tanning habits and family skin health concerns, the Internet personality and partner to tennis pro Taylor Fritz has shifted her perspective, calling SPF the “most important step in her routine.”
In addition to applying it every morning without fail, Riddle spoke with us about what she keeps in her always-packed travel bag and why the Oura ring is her sleep sidekick.
You’ve said sunscreen is a non-negotiable for you. Can you walk us through when that mindset clicked and how it changed your overall beauty routine?
“Yes! I grew up in the Midwest, where we all used tanning beds when we were teenagers, and I unfortunately participated. So I think it was in college when I got a lot more serious about wearing sunscreen and making sure I wore it every day. I’ve had a few moles removed that had precancerous cells. My dad had melanoma too, so it’s something that I take very seriously, and I always try to encourage other people to do daily.”
You’ve been loving ISDIN’s Fusion Water Magic—what specifically sets it apart for you compared to other SPFs you’ve tried?
“It’s really nice under makeup. It’s super, super glowy. It has hyaluronic acid, so it helps hydrate, and it gives a nice, bouncy base before you put on makeup. It also doesn’t just protect against the sun—it protects against blue light and pollution, which I think is also really important for a sunscreen, especially when I’m traveling.”

Your lifestyle involves constant travel and outdoor events. How do you make sure you’re protecting your skin no matter where you are or what your schedule looks like?
“I always pack sunscreen with me. It's the first thing that I put on in the morning—even before my morning walks, right when I wake up. I always make sure to put it on my face and my neck, and if I'm really going to be in the sun all day, I'll put it all over my body.”
How do you make sure you let your body rest and recover after days like that?
“Oh, well, that's really hard. I feel like I don't even have a circadian rhythm anymore, but I try to get as much sleep as possible. I track all the activity I do—my sleep—everything with my Oura Ring. I do try to take health and wellness very seriously, but it is a challenge with this sort of lifestyle.”
Your skin-care routine evolves with the seasons—what changes for you throughout the year?
“I actually keep my skin care pretty much the same throughout the year! I think the only thing that I really change is using a heavy moisturizer versus a light moisturizer in summer and winter—sort of depending on where we’re traveling. But other than that, I keep it very consistent.”
Who are your beauty icons, and what’s the most valuable lesson they’ve taught you about taking care of your skin?
“Honestly, the first person that came to mind is Ashley Mixon, who’s a ‘skinfluencer’ on TikTok who talks about skin care and skin flooding, which is when you basically just use a bunch of toners and moisture. She’s really all about moisture, and I love her videos and principles for skin care. I also love dermatologist influencers; I’m always watching them!”
When you’re packing for a tennis tournament weekend, what are your must-have beauty essentials, and what’s always in your bag without fail?
“I’m very consistent, so I always have the same things with me. I don’t have a travel size of anything—I bring my full-size products everywhere! I always make sure to have my skin care, I always make sure to have my SPF in my purse, I always have lip gloss and powder, but I would say it’s pretty simple.”
