Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht fan-favorite Daisy Kelliher is making waves with an exciting new project. She’s teaming up with friend and former charter guest Marc MacNamara, a globe-trotting director, to launch a brand-new podcast, Yacht Mess, debuting this month with Studio 71. Equal parts scandalous and entertaining, Yacht Mess dives into the jaw-dropping, cringe-worthy and downright unbelievable moments from the worlds of yachting, travel and pop culture. From celebrity meltdowns to luxury-gone-wrong escapades, Kelliher and McNamara dish it all—unfiltered, hilarious and unapologetically messy.

Ahead, we chatted with Kelliher about what to expect from the new podcast. Dive in below.

Congrats on the podcast. Can you share how that came about and how you went about getting it off the ground?

"Basically, a while ago now, I had put a Q&A on Instagram, and someone had asked me about doing podcasting. I was like, 'Yes, this is definitely a space I wanted to explore,' and a previous charter guest reached out to me. He'd seen it and was like, 'I want to do a podcast with you,' and he pitched the concept to me. That was honestly quite a while ago. God, I can't even remember how long ago, but over the last six months, we've been piecing it together and getting the launch date recording, finalizing the concept. We're excited for everyone to join in on the journey with us."

How will the flow go? Are you a big prepper, or will you wing it?

"Mark is definitely the prepper. I am definitely the winger, which is great because we work great as a team in that sense. Mark is really the brains behind the concept, what the per-episode cost is going to be, and what that entails. It's going to be lighthearted. There's going to be a lot of micro games that we're going to play and then discuss. It could be about anything—like pop culture, our personal lives, Below Deck, yachting. No space is, should I say, safe. But, yes, he gives me stuff to prep on, but it's definitely more fun when I go in there not knowing anything—it makes it more enjoyable and full of surprises for me and for the listeners."

When I watch the show, I always wonder how you sleep, do your skin care or have any sort of alone time. Do you have any time for self-care on charter?

"I am crazy about my sleep! I have been since I was young, and right through my yachting career. If I don't sleep, other people get hungry and things like that for exercise. For me, sleep is so important, so I just grab naps wherever I can. I'm a big early-to-bed person. When other people have a night off, they might be watching movies or having a beer with each other. I'm like, 'I'm going to go to bed. I'm just going to go rest.' That's my main self-care.

Obviously, there are other things I like to do; I might sneak off and get my nails done or a massage. Massages are a big one! I love a cheeky massage. Yes, there are different things like that. Everyone has their vice, whether it be going for a run, their skin care, but for me, sleeping is first...massages would be a close second."

You're also very diligent about your sunscreen. What are you using right now?

"I have gotten so good about it! But let's say I've learned...and I'm still trying to reverse the damage I've done, which has proven quite difficult. I've been using different ones. I was just away in Malaga, and I'm actually trying the new Sol De Janeiro, the SPF 50. I really like it because it is an oil, but it dries very, very quickly. For my face, one that I'm absolutely obsessed with at the moment is a Korean brand, Beauty of Joseon. It's so lightweight. I don't really like the feeling of anything on my face. They're the two ones that I've been using at the moment."
