Hundreds of products come across our desks every month, but not all of them deliver on their claims or live up to the hype. (Not everything that goes viral on TikTok is a miracle worker.) This is our exclusive curation of the best-in-class beauty products receiving rave reviews from our team and hitting shelves right now. From SkinCeuticals’ new age-defying sunscreen to MAC’s high-shine lip oil, we’ve got the inside scoop on all the newness.
The Best New Beauty Products This Month
SkinCeuticals Future UV Mineral Defense with SPF 50 ($60)
When you want your sunscreen to do a lot more than just shield you from harmful UV rays, this new formula is the one to choose. Infused with
“15-percent new-grade zinc oxide in a patent-pending emulsion,” it’s beloved by dermatologists for its broad-spectrum mineral SPF 50 protection, as well as its age-defying benefits. In 12-week clinical testing, participants saw a 27 percent decrease in both wrinkles and dark spots, as well as a 32-percent decrease in fine lines.

fresh Sugar Melt Lip Cream ($25)
The next generation of the brand’s cult-classic lippies, these “ultra-sheer, flavor-forward balms deliver juicy hydration in a single swipe.” Available in three shade-and-flavor combos (Watermelon Rind, Mango Pulp and Blood Orange Zest), they’re loaded with verbena phyto-peptides, hyaluronic acid filling spheres and activated sugar to keep lips nourished and hydrated for up to 24 hours.
In fact, in clinical testing, users experienced a 31-percent increase in moisture to the lip barrier and 94 percent showed a clinically proven increase in hydration throughout the day.

Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Crème ($75)
Bronzing cream is all the rage right now as we’re looking to warm up our skin with the shift in seasons. This one comes in four shade combos, each with two complementary tones that let you achieve a natural-looking, sun-kissed look. The silky-smooth, cream-to-powder formula can be used all over or to contour (it also has a bit of shine control and blurring effect) and dries down with a “hydrated-matte finish.” The brand also launched a new Blender II Brush, which pairs really nice with this formula and cream-based blush, too.

Dr.G Black Snail Collagen to Mist Serum ($20)
Founded by a dermatologist and backed by clinical testing, this K-beauty brand prioritizes science and innovation. This ultrafine mist utilizes black snail extract and T3 collagen to deliver deep hydration while also improving skin elasticity and firmness. With each spritz, skin feels refreshed and looks dewy (it’s suitable for sensitive types, too), and we love that there’s no stickiness left behind. Use it after cleansing, over makeup or throughout the day.

Innersense Organic Beauty Air Dry Styling Cream ($30)
As the humidity rises, many of us start reaching for air-dry creams and embracing our natural texture. This formula includes a blend of amino acids, baobab oil, algin and other botanicals to “give soft, flexible hold and polished texture without stiffness or buildup.” But perhaps its most exciting feature is that its clinically proven to deliver five times the frizz reduction (from baseline) that lasts up to 72 hours. And if you change your mind and decide you want to heat-style, it also acts as a heat protectant up to 450 degrees.

Beautyblender The Bio Pure Plant-Based Makeup Sponge ($20)
The brand’s most sustainable innovation yet, this new iteration of its iconic beauty sponge drops just in time for Earth Month. Composed of 60-percent plant-based material, including renewable sugarcane, it offers the same bounce and softness as the original, but with less product waste and a lower carbon footprint. Additionally, the outer packaging for Bio Pure is plastic-free and made of FSC-certified carton.

ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND NATUCOLLAGEN BOOST Eye Pads ($38)
Backed by more than 65 years of botanical innovation, German skin-care brand ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND introduces a new targeted eye treatment this month, which feels so good after a night of poor sleep. Infused with botanical actives, including plant-based, vegan collagen and white lupine extract, these under-eye masks not only take down puffiness and help boost moisture, but also support skin’s natural collagen production so fine lines appear smoother.

DevaCurl Quench'N Stretch Cream ($29)
Designed for medium-to-coarse curls and coils, this silicone-free curl cream douses dry hair in moisture and provides frizz control for up to seven days. Apply it to wet curls, starting at the ends and working toward the root, and leave it in, styling as usual. You’ll love the detangling power, noticeably better manageability and tropical fragrance—plus curls keep their stretch for up to five days!

MAC Cosmetics Lipglass Cushion High-Impact Oil ($25)
Available in 12 high-shine shades with a gorgeous pigment payoff, this glossy yet nonsticky gel-to-oil formula hydrates lips for up to 72 hours. “Lip oil has always lived between skin care and makeup,” says Romero Jennings, MAC‘s global director of makeup artisty. “You either get shine or color—never both. Lipglass Cushion finally brings the two best qualities together. I’ll line with a matching pencil, then press Lipglass Cushion over the top so the lips look dimensional and full without overblending.”

Dezi Skin SOL'D Broad Spectrum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA+++ ($38)
Founder Desi Perkins wanted this sunscreen to feel more like skin care, and she achieved it. Powered by a proprietary, zinc oxide–based mineral complex and skin-friendly ingredients like squalane, shea butter and allantoin, it boasts a buttery texture that melts into skin without a yucky residue. The pink tint cancels out any white cast and the soft-focus finish gives skin a pretty sheen.
