Just when you thought Barbie had done it all, she’s making a splashing debut as the new face of MAC cosmetics this spring. Coming to stores near you, the Barbie Loves MAC collection will offer makeup mavens an entire line based on the make-believe beauty. That’s right. Every girl who ever dreamed of looking like Barbie is about to get her opportunity.
The cosmetic line will feature Barbie-inspired colors, names and packaging. Among the products available will be lipstick, lipgloss, eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, nail polish, mascara and make-up brushes.
To really drive the doll-adorned campaign home, some MAC stores will be transformed into Barbie bedrooms and MAC sales associates will don Barbie t-shirts. For the little girl that still lives in every one of us, there’s even a limited edition MAC Barbie doll.
