When it comes to influencers and celebrities whose makeup always seems to be something straight out of a magazine photoshoot, Alix Earle is one of the first to come to mind. From the perfect cat eye liner to her airbrushed base and, of course, her iconic lips, Earle's makeup routine is one of the most sought-after on social media.

Never one to gatekeep or set unrealistic expectations, the content creator consistently makes a point to show off her skin and makeup struggles and give followers behind-the-scenes looks at what she does to look and feel her best through her iconic "get ready with me" videos. This week, in a holiday rendition of her signature trend, Earle revealed the lip combo she's been using as of late and the technique she's been following to supplement lip filler.

Alix Earle's Holiday Lip Combo

Back home in good old New Jersey for the holidays (me too, girl!), TikTok's favorite "hot mess" took to TikTok last night to share her holiday makeup routine. While we were impressed by her technique from base to eyes and more, we took specific note of her lip combo, which she says she's been getting a lot of questions about lately. To satiate the masses, Earle revealed that she's been using Makeup Forever's Artist Color Pencil ($24) in Anywhere Caffeine layered with Patrick Ta's Lip Cream ($26) in Blushing.

What was specifically noteworthy about Earle's holiday lip combo was her technique, which she says has a lot to do with her lack of lip filler as of late. "Ever since I stopped plumping up my lips with filler, I have been over-lining like crazy," she says while adding extra liner above her top lip, "And it's kind of making me want to get filler again." The reason? Earle isn't necessarily pleased with the over-lined look. "It literally looks like I have a mustache," she laughs.
