Sophie Turner is embracing a fresh hairstyle for summer. At the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 show on Thursday, May 23, the 28-year-old actress debuted her new haircut on the red carpet: a long bob (aka a “lob”) styled with an off-center part and bouncy waves.

The Louis Vuitton ambassador appeared to have chopped several inches off her formerly long hair and lightened it to a brighter shade of blonde. She complemented her chic new look with a pink suit and a top-handle bag, exuding an ultra-chic Barbie vibe for the show.

Turner’s hairstylist, Dayaruci, generously gave fans an up-close look at her client’s new hairstyle on Instagram. In the photo, the Game of Thrones star’s lob looks freshly blown out, with flipped-up ends and mega volume at the root.

It’s no secret that the lob is having a moment right now. “What’s happening for spring haircuts is shoulder length hair or a long bob with side part swept over bangs,” professional hairstylist Artur Kirsh previously told NewBeauty. To perfect the look, he says, “hair should be long enough that you can pull it up, and when you wear it down, it looks like a style. One side should be slightly longer than the other, very slightly.” Doesn’t that describe Turner’s new look perfectly?

Turner has been more active in the public eye recently after a challenging year following her separation from her ex-husband, Joe Jonas. Earlier this month, for example, she opened up about her mental health for the first time since the split in a revealing interview with British Vogue.

Turner, who moved back to the UK last year, shared with the outlet that since relocating, she no longer requires medication to treat her anxiety and depression. Instead, she’s found comfort in her community. “There’s something about a community and a support system that I’ve never realized is so important up until now,” she told the outlet. “And I think the reason I was on medication for so long is because I didn’t have those people with me. Now that I’m back home, I’m actually the happiest I’ve been in a really long time. I’m starting over again, rediscovering what I like to do, who I like to be with.”

One of her newfound joys has been spending more time with her close friends, which she suggests has been great for her mental health and happiness. “The number one most important thing in a relationship is communication,” she told British Vogue, noting that goes for friendships, too. To promote healthy communication with her pals, she told the outlet that they’ve created something called Safe Space Saturdays. During the weekend gathering, she said, “We can openly share anything on our minds and resolve it through healthy communication because I never want to be left in the dark in a relationship.”
