Not sure if you can relate, but I’m officially ready to retire my winter perfumes for the season. As much as I love a spicy scent or a rich gourmand, I’m craving something lighter, something that smells like I should be sipping a glass of crisp white wine on the porch with the sun beaming down and a perfect 70-degree breeze in the air. Who’s with me?
A quick social media scroll yesterday made me even more optimistic that summer is near. According to Trendmood—a beauty news-focused Instagram page known for keeping followers up to date with new and upcoming releases—Maison Margiela Fragrances is expanding its Replica range with Never-Ending Summer Eau de Toilette ($165), set to drop on March 21.
As described by the beauty platform, Never-Ending Summer is a “fresh citrus fragrance that captures the feeling of eternal summer. The unique Italian-spritz accord, recognizable for its uplifting citrus notes, intertwines with bright notes of a freshly peeled orange and vibrant vetiver to transport you to memories of an endless Italian summer.” True to the brand’s signature storytelling, which ties each scent to a specific moment in time, this one channels the “Amalfi Coast, 2022.”
Even the fragrance brand itself is teasing the launch, commenting on Trendmood’s post, “Your Never Ending Summer is just around the corner…” And while the summer scent hasn’t officially launched, it already has a page on Sephora’s website, listed as “out of stock” until its official release. If you’re craving summer’s early arrival as intensely as I am, mark your calendar for March 21 and check it out below.
