Brynn Whitfield is getting honest. The Real Housewives of New York City star revealed in an interview with People that she didn’t start wearing sunscreen until her mid-20s. “That’s when I started getting Botox and using sunscreen religiously,” she told the outlet. Fast forward to today, and she’s changed her ways. Now, she is partnering with Rihanna’s Fenty Skin to promote the brand’s highly-rated SPF, and stress the importance of consistent application. That should be easy, because, as she says, its sunscreen is “so much more than another sunscreen from another brand.”
Naturally, her favorite sunscreen product these days is the Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum Mineral SPF 30 Sunscreen ($42). “It’s always with me,” she told the outlet. “Funny story: I’m a carry-on queen, I never check a bag. But the size of the one that I have, it’s a bit bigger, so I’m at Heathrow airport in the security line one day and they’re like, ‘Sorry, ma’am, we have to take this away.’ When I tell you the breakdown I had! I ended up being able to take it with me, but I had to forfeit some other products. Those were replaceable but this is a must-have.”
Whitfield’s beauty essentials don’t stop there. She also swears by the Joanna Vargas Glow to Go Mask Set ($75). “I love [esthetician] Joanna Vargas. Her spa is where I go for facials,” she said. “I always get the Triple Crown. She also has these sheet masks that are really good. I like to keep them in the refrigerator. That’s really good, especially after traveling.”
And when it comes to her hair, she can’t live without the Dyson Airwrap ($600). “I actually have two,” she admits, “One that can fit into US outlets and one that can fit into EU outlets.
