It’s no secret that Bethenny Frankel has built an empire, adding “accidental influencer” to her already stacked résume, which boasts titles such as self-made entrepreneur, TV producer, podcast host, New York Times bestselling author and philanthropist. (Casual!) While her no-nonsense TikTok beauty product reviews have become a fan favorite, she’s now taking things a step further—shifting the focus from just the products to the techniques behind them.

Enter the latest TikTok from The Real Housewives of New York City alum, where she shares a “foundation hack” perfect for those, like herself, who don’t believe in “tons of foundation.” Rather than starting with a traditional base, Frankel applies concealer in her usual spots before blending in a stick bronzer. Next, she reaches for her BK Beauty foundation brush, carefully working around the areas she’s already covered to avoid “plastering” the face. She completes the routine with blush, followed by the rest of her makeup, and a touch of powder for a fresh, natural finish.

“I just think less is more,” she concludes in the video. “I think people beat down their face too much with makeup and I think this is a good look.”

Fans are fully on board, flooding the comments with their own experiences. “I stopped using foundation two years ago and only use concealer in the right spots. Won’t ever go back. 48 and I look years younger without it,” one person shared. Another chimed in, “As I age, I realize less is more, so I’ve been using a tinted moisturizer with SPF and concealer and I love it!”

At the end of the day, finding the right routine is personal, but Frankel’s less-is-more approach definitely has us tempted to give it a try.
