Ocean blue

The year 2024 brought us several blue nail trends, including a vibrant chrome and creamy milk look. However, this year, celebrity nail stylist Elle Gerstein says all eyes will be on ocean blue. Glossy and high-shine finishes are a given, but if you want to make your nails stand out, Gerstein recommends trying a matte topcoat instead. The only caveat? Matte finishes don’t last as long but, as she explains, they instantly give your look a trendy, cool feel.

Embracing a neutral, earthy nail look is never a bad idea. Instead of opting for a fleshy nude, try selecting a rich chocolate shade. “A mocha mousse-inspired polish adds warmth to your set and has timeless appeal,” says Green. However, finding a color that fits your complexion is key to achieving an understated and elegant look.
