Ashley Graham is endlessly relatable, especially when she’s mixing work and play with a cocktail in hand. In her latest Substack post, fittingly titled “Mixing Work and Pleasure in Miami,” the 37-year-old supermodel shared highlights from her recent trip, including go-to restaurants, hotel recs and one detail that made us pause mid-scroll: the probiotic she loves to help prevent hangovers.
Graham was in town for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, one day of which included beverages galore. She described the scene as “endless tents stretched across a football field and going down to the beach, full of activations, immersive brand experiences, and nonstop tastings.”
“There was a tequila zone, an Italian wine corner, a Rosé garden, and countless seltzer stations,” she continued. “We bounced around all day. It really felt like I was “drinking around the world”—kind of like Disney, but for adults. We started with tequila, ended with an Aperol spritz, and tried everything in between.”
Fully aware that her drink lineup might make some wince, Graham shared the hangover-prevention hack that’s quickly become a non-negotiable in her routine. “Thankfully, I also drank a pre-alcohol prebiotic that my business partner Danny told me about,” she revealed. “I actually tried them in Cabo—if you drink one before you have any alcohol, you wake up the next morning feeling 100%. It’s my new secret hack! No hangover! Take it before you leave your home or hotel, and you’re golden.”
The specific product Graham’s referring to is from ZBiotics. How it works, per the brand: “When you drink, alcohol leaves behind a toxic byproduct called acetaldehyde in the gut. It’s this byproduct, not dehydration, that causes your rough next day. Invented by PhD scientists, ZBiotics breaks down acetaldehyde.”
They’re not exactly cheap, but Graham isn’t the only one who swears by them. The drink has nearly a perfect five-star rating on Amazon, which raises the question: how much would you spend to prevent a hangover?
