Best-selling author, TV personality, and fitness entrepreneur Amanda Kloots has a new gig that’s close to her heart and, this time she’s taking on the sometimes hush-hush subjects of self-care and mental-wellness.

“Self-care is anything that makes you feel better and furthers your mental health and wellness,” the 40-year-old shared with us. “It’s important to remember that self-care isn’t self-centered and that everyone has their own version of what that looks like to them. “I make an effort daily to check in with myself and give my body and mind what it needs. Those needs will and do differ on a daily basis, so it’s all about that daily check-in.
