With more than 10 million followers, a slow beauty philosophy and Netflix’s highly anticipated Victorious spin-off, Hollywood Arts, Daniella Monet’s days are hectic, but her wellness habits are solid.

Slow Mornings

“Right now, self-care looks like waking up and having a slow morning with my family. I love taking my time making the kids a nice breakfast and enjoying an iced latté my husband makes me.

Next, I usually drop the kids off at school or camp, depending on the time of year, and I hit a workout. Whether it’s a strength-training class at F45 or my own routine at our gym, I’m happiest when I get to challenge myself and sweat a little before jumping into cleaning up the house or work obligations!”

Treatment Rituals

“I love a good massage when I can make time for it. I’ve been seeing a woman named Rebecca Benenati since I was pregnant with my son. She’s very intuitive and can do anything from life coaching and body work to buccal massage, which I am obsessed with!

On the day-to-day though, I give myself lymphatic facial massages using organic skin-care products like Frøya and we also have a Sun Home Sauna with red light therapy, which I try to do weekly.

But, I’d say one of my favorite ways to self-care is through food. I love making myself and family whole foods, mostly inspired by my Italian roots. All of these little rituals make such a difference in helping me feel my best.”

Hydration Habits

“Hydration is huge for me, especially on long workdays, and I love the ‘loaded water’ with electrolytes from Pique and GoodOnya. I also love chlorophyll or a powder from The Absorption Company, specifically their Restore + Magnesium Stack ($90), which gets me through work, period. It may sound a little extra, but it’s one of the simplest ways I can support myself throughout the day, especially when a sip is sometimes all I have time for.

My second super low-effort no-brainer trick would be my tongue scraper. It’s such a simple ritual and weirdly satisfying.”

Grounded Reset

“If I feel like my nervous system needs to simply slow down, I reach for a good magnesium supplement like BIOptimizers, The Absorption Company or Pure. Outside of that, I have bags and bags of my magnesium bath soak from Ancient Minerals. I have been a devoted monthly customer for 10-plus years. I don’t take a bath without the soak, nor do my kids or husband.

I also occasionally do an overnight castor oil pack when it feels like my body could use a little extra support. Honestly, I love anything that gets me out of my head and back into my body, whether that’s taking a bath, going outside for a walk or stretching. Even a few intentional minutes can completely shift how I feel.”

Travel Essentials

“I always bring my supplements, electrolytes, trusted skin care, favorite kitchen tools/comfort pan and a few things that make it easier to maintain my routines away from home. I know it sounds ridiculous, but knowing I have pots and pans that I am comfortable with wherever I will be staying is huge for me so I can feel at home.

I also prioritize little comforts that aren’t necessarily products, like finding a local workout class, cooking a meal or walking to a grocery store. Those small rituals make a new place feel more familiar. And of course, staying connected to my husband and kids through videos and FaceTime is what grounds me most.”

Holy Grails

“Frøya Organics Day Balm ($39) is definitely one of my holy grails at the moment. I discovered it a few months ago and am obsessed; I even turned my husband onto it and he’s noticed a big difference in his skin.

The Golden Secrets Serum has been a favorite of mine for years. It’s definitely an investment, but my skin absolutely loves it. I’m also obsessed with Uncommon Beauty’s Koji Pads ($55).

More recently, my COSRX products have become holy grails too, especially the Vitamin C 13 ($21), 6 Peptide Booster Serum ($21), Hyaluronic Acid 3 ($25) and Ceramide Skin Barrier ($23).

Beauty Evolution

“Over the years, my beauty routine has become much more minimal, holistic and intuitive. I’m less interested in having an overwhelming number of products and more interested in finding clean, effective things that support the long-term health of my skin.

Beauty is about intentional self-care, consistency, facial massage, hydration, sleep and supporting my skin from the inside out. I’ve also moved away from believing wellness has to look rigid. Following a routine just for the sake of following it doesn’t feel like wellness to me. Learning to understand what my skin and body actually need in the moment does.”

Feel-Good Hack

“Walking is really the first thing I do when I feel stuck or don’t want to think about what to do. It’s my ‘better than nothing’ hack for feeling good almost instantly, and usually opens me up to finding clarity, peace of mind and direction. I will never take for granted the ability to find time to move my body. It’s literally always been the foundation for me.”
